I love working with FOLKLIFE magazine as they embody many of the qualities I celebrate in life; local, ethical, and inspired. This magazine shares stories of passion, dedication and resilience. When I photograph small businesses I aim to make images that share attention to poetic detail, and a feeling for the people whose hearts dreamed the business into being. As a small business owner myself, I try to give great value in my Brand + Editorial Sessions, by creating a series of images that can be used in different contexts for years to come. Working for FOLKLIFE has given me the opportunity to photograph many stories, and to get to know the questions to ask when making a set of images that can carry both the materials and the motivation of a business.

Another one of my amazing clients that has helped me develop my eye for narrative within image making is Southern Gulf Islands Tourism. My images are featured on their website, social media, island maps, and other printed materials. I have covered Salt Spring Island, Pender, Mayne and Saturna for them, and I love my adventures which have me seeking out special stories on the islands, as well as being an ambassador for Southern Gulf Islands Tourism.
