WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Based on Salt Spring Island and working throughout the West Coast, I am inspired by landscapes that invite slowness and connection. My hope is to create images that convey the poetic qualities of our experience—photographs that not only document a day, but that add to a couple’s living history.

Influenced by years of working across creative disciplines, I think of photography as both craft and relationship. I am always aware of composition and light, and I am equally attuned to breath, pacing, and emotional tone. I want the experience of being photographed to feel calm, collaborative, and joyful. When people receive the images I make I always hope they feel seen and celebrated.

My approach blends documentary attentiveness with an editorial eye. I move gently through a wedding day, allowing photographic moments to reveal themselves naturally. When guidance seems welcome, I offer cues that encourage presence, confidence, and the freedom to explore.

The essential nature of my photography is aligned with authenticity, trust, and a deep respect for the way moments unfold. I am drawn to weddings not just as events, but as living ecosystems of relationship, memory, and place.

What matters most to me is creating images that feel honest and enduring—photographs that hold the big emotions, but also the quiet in-between moments that so often become the most meaningful over time.
