I was so glad to recently to share an evening in Comox with this beautiful family. It was such a delight to be in their company, and I am glad to share some of the photos. Photographing families has become something I really look forward to, now that I have figured out how to make it FUN! One of my favourite ways to plan a session is to visit somewhere that the family holds precious, and take an adventure there together….

It was such a pleasure to photograph Tracy, her daughter Joey, and their creature companions, Frankie and Roo. I’ll share a little selection from our session, and a kind review from Tracy. This session was in the summer of 2025, in Victoria, BC.

For these photos we adventured around the family home, and up to a beautiful hillside for the last few minutes of sunset. I love this Metchosin session, and this kind, expressive and adventurous family.
