Spring Elopement on Galiano Island

I loved how Kailey and Chris were so spontaneous in the flow of their elopement. They booked in at Galiano Inn and Spa, and the day before their vows they went around to the various beaches that they were familiar with, and that had been recommended. I received an email the night before with a sketch of our time together the next day. Perfect! I met them at the inn for a few photos and then we headed for our adventure that included the beach and some bluffs.

There is something so incredibly poetic about such an intimate way of performing the ceremony of marriage. I felt extra honored to be there as a photographer, and as a signing witness. So special!

Here is a little glimpse of their few hours with me……
